PERSONALIZED YOGA PROGRAMS

offer In ancient India, yoga instruction was conducted solely in a one on one basis between teacher and student. Today, a private class is the ideal way to begin or to deepen one’s personal yoga practice and allows for individual needs, desires, abilities, and even schedules.

Individual tuition can also be a powerful tool in the recovery from illness or injury (following a doctor’s approval), pregnancy.

Each student is asked to fill out a basic confidential questionnaire and meet with the teacher to determine the student’s needs and goals. Based upon these, the teacher will then prepare a customized home practice that fits into your daily life.

A practice can be as short as ten minutes or as long as you wish to make it.  The most important thing is to set realistic goals and to move step by step, firmly establishing each stage before moving to the next.

Your personal practice will be drawn on A4 paper with all relevant indications, such as how to breathe into and out of postures (āsana), which breathing technique to use (prānāyāma), particular points to focus on (bhāvana), visualisations, meditative practices (dhyāna), or any other information that is appropriate for you. download a sample

We recommend at least 3 private sessions within 3 weeks for the establishment of a personal home practice. The frequency of further sessions is for the student to decide. make an appointment

Rate: SGD 80 per hour
